Hi guys I'm really sorry I see so many topics when people build.....but hey your opinion is helpful =D

For my build my budget is $1,500

I want it to be a mid-gaming pc with parts that give you bang for the buck.

I came up with this list on newegg and I wanted to share you with guys and see if I picked right things or what can we improve.

$34.99 Asus dvd burner http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6827135156

$139.99 Antec P182 mid tower case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6811129025

$79.99 Seagate 500gb hd http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6822148288

$199.99 Acer 22" lcd http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6824009094

$99.99 XIGMATEK 650w PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817815001

$219.99 Dfi Lanparty x48 mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813136047

$119.99 Core 2 Duo e7200 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6819115052

$109.99 Vista 64bit http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6832116488

$49.99 Zerotherm Nirvana http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6835887011

$279.99 Powercolor 4870 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814131113

All comes to $1,459.88

I picked x48 since I would crossfire in future and I could upgrade to 1600fsb cpus.
I also picked Anted P182 since I'm not into flashy lights, I just want that clean look and neatness inside the case.
I took e7200 since reviews on newegg were hitting over 3ghz on that chip and its pretty cheap.

If you can squeeze it, go for the e8400 over the 72, you really will see a performance boost, it is worth the extra ~50$

I'm driving tomorrow to nearest OfficeMax tomorrow (8/11) to see it myself since online pics sucks.

Back to topic I will save money by getting 4850, with that money saved I will go with e8400 and take the 640gb hd (thanks paq7515). I'm not sure about the psu....I like the idea of it having 2x6pin and 2x6+2pin =D As for the cpu cooler I didn't made my mind up yet :)

Get a 750TX PSU. It's better for Crossfire.

Replace the P182 with a RC-690. It's cheaper and better cooled. This way maybe you can upgrade the CPU to E8400 without downgrading the video card to HD 4850. After all, the video card is the last place where you should make cuts on a gaming PC. If necessary, dump the Zerotherm too to save money. You can always add it later. The important thing is to get the best video card you can. The CPU matters a lot less, and I'm sure E8400 even at stock, or overclocked on the stock cooler, is way more than enough to avoid bottlenecks.
