Hello.

I was interested in building a PC with an AMD processor. I have most of the parts I need. My question is if I want the PC to be Phenom II compatible, will an AM2+ board be compatible with Phenom II?

Thanks.

Yes for the first ones out that support DDR2 memory.

The CPU will fit in the Socket.

You need to make sure the Mobo make is gonna provide BIOS support.
Your best bet is to wait until support is announced.
