Hello !

I have a Dell XPS R450 -p2 @ 450 that i have installed a ECS mb with 1.3 amd processor. Everything works but i need a way to convert the motherboard connector of the XPS to the regular mainstream connector!

Anyone no of where i can find the pin out of the Dell power swtich connector ?

Trying to keep the case as unchanged as possible, but will use a after market switch if i cannot figure out the pinout of the dell connector.

Thanks in advance

If you can look at the colors of the wire on the dell case on/off sw.
Or send an email to dell tech support.
Or get a multimeter and using the resistance function, test out the plug until you find the short from the case on/off sw.

ok Thanks I have tried that but will try again. More than likely i will just pay $5.00 for a after market atx power switch and be done with it.

They usually have the blueprint/schematics of their systems on the site in a .pdf format for you to download. Try searching the support section.
