Hello,
APL font down load never gets to printer. Text fonts do get printed.

Is there a way for the download
to suceed or somehow get APL Char?

You can try loading all the latest printer drivers and updates from the HP website, but no guarantees.
You can try to find printer font specific patches from Microsoft, but I am not aware of any myself.
You can try tech support from HP which I think costs money.

But what I do is highlight and copy from the web page, I paste it into microsoft word, save it as a word file, change the font from there.

Were the fonts actually "installed?"

Windows requires fonts be installed to work. All Fonts must be registered in the Windows registry.

Go to Start>Settings>Control Panel>Fonts.

Click the "File" menu item at top of page.
Choose "Install new font" and navigate to location of your fonts.
Select one's to be installed, click OK, you are done.

Alas, it doesn't work because word offers a limitd list of fonts and this list does not offer the APL font and however, this font is registered in the windows fonts!!!
