right I got a new gaming rig. with a HD4870 from sapphire, however the 17 inch monitor its currently running on flashes more than what it did with my old rig *note that was on a HD3870* I tried uninstalling the drivers and putting in stock once still did it. Tried a differnt CRT monitor still does it...>_> but its fine with out the drivers ROFL. any ideas, two monitors can't be faulty. my old one did it a few times with my old monitor but not as bad as this...help:S

are you using a DVI-VGA adapter? i could see some problems from using those but changing the drivers shouldn't make a difference. other than that, i've got nothing for ya.

yes I am, thats a point I was using a differnet one with my old system.
