I decided to buy the 8800 GT Not GTX or GTS. My Budget is Limited. But I there's something i need to know before buying this card, I know there are several manufacturers and different Editions of this same video card and I want to know if anyone know which one is the best of all editions and brands? I've been researching for some like:


XFX GeForce 8800 GT Video Card - Alpha Dog Edition

EVGA GeForce 8800 GT Video Card - Dual Slot Edition

And many other Editions that have some differences but I wonder Which one has better Performance of them all?

I personally like alpha dog for its size but i wonder if it has the same performance as those big cards?



Please Help find the Best Edition and Model possible, I will really appreciate it a lot. Thanks

I'd go with the dual-slot one. It will offer better cooling for more overclocking potential.

Choosing between the two you listed, I would go with the card with dual slot cooling (EVGA) which has the added benefit of EVGA's warranty and step-up program.

dual slot one. keep it cool, and you can overclock it enough to perform like a stock 4850. +buying a cheap EVGA card is a nice way to get in on that sweet sweet step up program.
