Hello there!

The fan of my brand-new Gigabyte 4850 w/Zalman cooling is make a whole bunch of noise. I would describe it as a whistle sound.

Reading the forums I gather that software cannot control the fan since it only has a 2-pin power connection.

Q: Is it possible to connect the darn fan to Zalman's Fan Mate 2?

Hey tommer, I'm not exactly sure where, but else here did complain of their AMD card creating a whining sound. I suggested it as an article idea in the article ideas section of this forum, my proposal there contains a link to the thread I saw.
