Problem is that DVD / harddisk freezes basically during any kind of setup processes.
Let's say I m installing some game and it freezes up in 20% and stops there until I have removed and replaced dvd many times or try to read it through windows explore. After awhile it will go on for sometime until it freezes again (It wont continue at all if I dont remove dvd from drive or try explore DVD. Plus its not quaranteed that it will start continuing setup process right away if I do mess with dvd.. infact most of the cases I need to do it plenty of times before loading goes on)
This way installing game for example takes hour or more and is really driving me nuts. I have 2 computers and 3 dvd drives, which all are working ones in second computer, but another one just keeps freezing, so its not the dvd drive problem.
I have also reinstalled windows 2 times and it did not solve problem.
Specs on freezing computer are;
Processor: Amd 5600+ box am2
Motherboard: MSI K9N SLI V2
RAM: 3GB Buffalo DDRII 800mhz
Hard drive: Samsung T166 320GB SATA II
Graphic Acc: Gigabyte GF8800GT 512MB PCI-E
Vista Home Premium 32bit
Everything else runs smoothly on computer, games run well and doesnt crash, and computer works just dandy any other cases, its just running setups on dvds or even copying stuff from them is really painfully slow work. There are several freezes during these processes.
