is 750w enough for my system?

790i ultra board
2x280 gtx
4 gb of ddr3 1800
q9550
hd
dvd r/w

i am not planing to oc , ever. not even 1%.

is a true 750w psu enough for that system?

Yes, something like a Corsair tx750 would have no problem. The most important thing is the amount of amps on the 12V rail(s).

What PSU are you considering?

I would go with the corsair 750 watt 1st choice or a pc power and cooling, whichever is cheaper if cost is an issue. If not, I prefer corsair. I only have 1 system in my house that doesnt have one in it but that will eventually change...

Pc power and cooling but you cant go wrong with the corsair.
