Windows 7 + OC?!

Just wondering...does the OS version affect anyhow the OC, stupid question but I am going to upgrade to Windows 7, so wanted to see if it's all good.
Another thing is: Is it ok to OC on Xp, then upgrade to Win 7, or wait Windows 7 than OC, first time so I'm not sure if it will make any difference...

overclocking is done in the bios, so the OS has no effect on it.
