Got a brand new EVGA E-Geforce 9600 GT 512MB video card today and installed it on my pc. The core temperature is about 57 degrees when im not playing games, I'm not that pc savy so could someone tell me what I could possibly do to alleviate this problem?

My 8800GTS is idling at 60C. :(

Load temps are more important. Don't wanna go over 85C.

If it's really bothering you, grab Rivatuner and turn the fan speeds up, if possible.
