No help guys? I thought you guys did this stuff all the time. I think at least four of the six audio connectors on the back of the mobo need to hook up to the part of the reciever that say surround, center, front, rear, etc

the mobo has headphone outs (don't know, 1/8"?) and the reciever has rca style jacks there

You might be able to get away with using the DVD discrete

Youll need 3x 3.5mm jacks to 2xRCA connections.

1 in green connection on mobo to front red and white on AMP under DVD
1 in i think black (rear channel) on mobo to rear surrond (looks brown and beige from photo)
1 in i think blue (centre / sub) on mobo to centre sub (green and purple) on AMP

Voila.

Depending on what you use your AVR for and what routing capabilities it has you might have issues with this working while you have DVD player plugged in etc.

Option 1)
Get mini jack to RCA adapters. Several of them.

Option 2)
Get a sound card that supports Dolby Digital Live. Use optical.

Will the integrated HDaudio decode the 5.1 in any games at all? Thanks for the advice, those cables are really cheap. I'm going to go that route if the integrated soudn will work
