hi there, i'm new to this forum. :D

I have 2 5850 on Crossfire running on my rig along with i7 920 @4.2GHz

now i'm looking for a way to overclock both og my card. i've tried afterburner, AMD GPU clock tool, and rivatuner.

but no luck whatsoever. all i can do is overclock one card and the other card remain at stock speed.

on AMD GPU clock tool when I try to overclock the 2nd card, my rig crahs.

even rivatuner don't recognize my 2nd card.

except for using CCC, which I managed to get to overclock both of my card. but using CCC have limitation on the overclock.

Is there any way of OCing both of the card?

All help is appreciated. :D

P.S: sorry for my bad english. i'm from indonesia.

yeah it works, but the clock is limited to 775 like in CCC
not like in AMD GPU clock tool, and rivatuner which can exceed 775..

thanks btw, but any other OC software reccomendation?

I don't know why you would want to OC those cards since they are basically 2 monsters at stock speeds.... You have more firepower then a single 5870....

Just my opinion....

that's right OvrClkr, this cards is monsters!

my friend that using one 5850on his 3.6 q5500 can push his card to 1000/1250 and get almost 18000 on vantage and 24500 on '06..

I just like to see if overclocking this cards can get me over 30k on 06 because now my score is stuck on 28500 on 06 and 22500 on vantage..

:D

i agree with oveclkr, basically no need to OC the cards unless you're trying to set a record or something.

Just a quick question , but what board are you using, I'm thinking about a new 790fx, and just wondering.

In my opinion, classifieds are the only way to go with i7's.

nah, wouldn't call it an upgrade.. because right after the race I just sell the 5850s and get one 5870.

one card is enough for me daily.. because I just watch movie.. :D
