Acer 5534-1096 harddisk security password

Hello,
I changed out the broken screen on the above laptop and now I get a harddisk security message requiring a password. The unit booted up fine before the screen changed. Now what? Any Advice other than the acer $100 service fee? P.S no password was ever set, yet now one is required.
