Something ain't right cause I run TF2 max settings with a q9450, 4gb ram, 4870 at the least 150fps. Make sure you have the catlyst control center settings set to use program defaults, I didn't before and it wouldn't let me set some of the settings in crysis to V high.

If your in the advanced view. There should be menues on the left side and one that says "overdrive" click on that one and then there's settings for AA, and other things like that. There should be a little check box on each of those for "application settings" just make sure you have them checked.

I'm don't have CCC on my comp right now but that should be how to do it if my memory is correct.

Because you have XP which uses DirectX 9.0c, Crysis can't run Very High spec because that requires DirectX 10 which requires Vista. The FPS for Crysis sounds about right, have you patched the game up? For TF2, something is up because your FPS should be going into the hundreds easily.

did you try different servers at leasT? i mean i know when i play tf2, it can get slow to a crawl at times, but is smooth as butter at other times... could be an internet issue maybe? tf2 is an online game... i have a 2900xt btw
