my specs are

AMD athlon 4200+ 2.2 GHz.

sapphire radeon HD 4850

500 W PWR supply.

windows vista

now ive heard that, my processor will slow me down in upcoming games and current crysis, far cry 2 etc.

now im wondering if upgrading to this would be the right choice, or is it even worth it? money isnt the problem. is it even worth upgrading?

now i know that the top one is better, but will the bottom one be more then enough to play crysis?

Both of those will run Crysis though not at the highest settings. The most significant advantage of the black edition is that the multiplier is unlocked for easier overclocking. Now unless you have a chipset that has the SB750 south bridge (the 790GX is the only chipset I know of that has this) than overclocking a phenom is going to be frustrating at best.
