Get a better PSU. Corsair PCP&C or OCZ.

There is a smaller tube of thermal compound thats like 6 bucks. Unless you need to use it on like 100 CPU's, find that one.

The AC Freezer Pro 7 is nice and its cheaper for a CPU cooler of the Xigmatek Rifle with bracket. You can skimp a few bucks there and still be good

I disagree. I think it has to do with the feel. It might be better to you, but not for everyone. I would recommend going to a BestBuy or something and trying out the mice for yourself. I personally game competitively on my trusty Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0. I have owned many "gaming"mice, and wouldnt trade the Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 for anything. I love the feel of that mouse. I also perform better on it then even the most expensive mouse like a Logitech g9.

What im trying to say is that just because razer claims there mouse has a higher DPI then logitech, or logitech has those weights on there mouse, doesnt mean its "better".

If you're already at $230 for the 4850, just go the extra $50 and get the 4870, you can lose the VGA cooler to make it up. Lose the soundcard until you've tried the integrated sound. If you just can't live with it add the sound card in a month or 2. AC freezer or Xigmatek cooler with bracket. Get 2X2 GB DDR2 800 RAM

Logitech G518, works great for me, FPS and RTS games. I think sometimes, people really make a big deal about mice...as long as you aren't using some Dell $0.99 mouse, get what you like and works well for you...not everyone likes the feel and movement of every 'recommended' mouse. I do, personally, favor Logitech G5/7/9 mice over others, although, I do see a new optical version of the Boomslang...YES! I loved the old ball Boomslang 2100, but it got junk stuck in it all the time and caused problems. I might just have to look into the new ones...

I agree with dirtmountain on all points. You can lose the VGA cooler because the 4870 exhausts its heat.

those look pretty bad a55 but its a little over kill cuz i'm not trying to play crysis or higher end games i'm probably going to play CS:S for now. So what should I build that wouldn't swallow my wallet but still make me happy to play the source engine and still have fast computing power for other stuff. Heres the stuff that i did pick out but if you kno of something that does the same thing but better you can switch it for that.
