i have 2x 1gb sticks of corsair xms2 800mhz ddr2 ram and 2x 512mb of corsair xms2 800mhz ddr2 ram. when i put them all together in my 750i mobo the computer locks up whenever i start to stress the system like playing crysis or something. on the 512 sticks it says 4-4-4-12. on the 1gb sticks it says 5-5-5-12. im trying to figure out how to make them work together but i cant figure it out. i set the timings in bios to 5-5-5-12 but i still had the same problem so maybe its a voltage glitch. any ideas?

this is what cpuz says for the 512 ram under the spd tab

Jedec #1 Jedec #2 EPP #1
Frequency 270mhz 400mhz 400mhz
CAS# Latency 4.0 5.0 4.0
RAS to CAS # 4 5 4
RAS# Precharge 4 5 4
tRAS 13 18 12
tRC 15 22 22
Command Rate 2T
Voltage 1.8V 1.8V 2.100V

this is what it says for the 1gb sticks

Frequency 270mhz 400mhz
CAS# Latency 4.0 5.0
RAS to CAS # 4 5
RAS# Precharge 4 5
tRAS 13 18
tRC 15 22
Command Rate
Voltage 1.8V 1.8V

Phantom, I had the same set up as you in my rig at one point and time. First make sure that you have each stick in the right slots. For example on my Asus m2n32 sli deluxe I have to run them in A1B1 and A2B2. Then go into your bios adjust your ram voltage to 2.1 volts and you can change your timings to 4-4-4-12-2t. I ran this set up for a long time with no errors or BSOD's. It is a real easy fix that takes 5 minutes to do. Good luck
