Hi to all on this forum. I'm new to this and I was wondering if I could have some of your advice.
I'm tired of using my E-Machine I got a couple years back. I want a new computer.
I'm taking engineering courses and since then I've become more interested into computers. I now want to put one together. I've been searching the web for advice and I've came across this site multiple times.

Computer Use: Games 60%, Media 20%, School/Work (needs to run Autodesk Inventor 2009 easy) 15%, Other 5%.

Now, I've already have an outline on the other pieces I'm going to buy, such as the CPU, Video card etc.
(Opinions welcome!)
CPU - AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+
Video Card - XFX GeForce 8800GT 512 MB XXX (PCI-E)
Power Supply - Rosewill RX750-D-B 750W 80Plus Certified, ATX12V v2.2 & EPS12V v2.91 SLI 8800GTX SLI CrossFire Ready Active PFC PFC
Internal Drive - Western Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s
CD Drive - Need advice/opinions
Monitor - Right now I have a E-Machine 17" Analog. Now the Video Card only supports DVI ports, so I would need to buy a converter. Or if I have some change lying around I will buy a Samsung 19" LCD fo around $130.
Ram Right now I have around 2gb RAM lying around, But it might not work on this computer. It doesn't on the E-Machine.

So anyone looking at this and feels like helping here are my questions:
1) What mother board should I choose to accommodate all of these items? (Price range 100-150, maybe 200)
2) Should I change any of the parts I listed to meet my computer needs?
3) Do any of my parts conflict in any way? Are they good?
4) Any advice you want to give me about how to go about what I am doing.

My name is Justin, I live in NY and I'm 17 in college.
Thank you so much for looking and any advice is appreciated.
