Verbatim external hard drive problems

Bought a Verbatim portable harddrive, Surefire, 500 GB. using it with final cut pro on Apple Mac etc already. is supposed to be able to used on PC. now have it in my PC, no sign of it so far. how do i get to use this unit on My Pc?

Verbatim products usually come with their own software stored on the disk itself. Can you see the disk in Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Disk Management and give it a drive leter?

Did you remove anything from the disk while using it on a Mac?
