I just bought a ACER desktop PC, the Aspire AM1100-B1410A:

Pretty killer, for only $279!!

I figure it's a good start for a desktop PC, & also for a testbed to play with hardware. Eventually, I will do my own build.

It has integrated video graphics (ATI Radeon X1200), is this an accelerator chip on the MB? Is this generic, or is it halfway decent?

I have a PNY FX540 workstation graphics card, which I just put in the PCI slot. Strangely, when I booted, the integrated video doesn't work anymore! (Under Control Panel/Resolution..it's greyed out & I can't get it to come online). Is there a workaround, or am I stuck with it being disabled (if I have a video card plugged into PCI slot)? The PNY FX540 has dual monitor capability, btw.

TIA for any help/advice.
