I'm buying the CoolerMaster CM830 case and I need to know what fans/cooling to get with it?

The site I am looking at says it has these expansions.
Cooling System: Up to 9 x 120mm FAN (option)
Front: 3 (One 120x120x25 mm (LED) Included)
Top: 1
Rear: 1 (included)
Side: 4 (Side fan bracket is also for 140mm x 4 or 120mm x 4 or 92mm x 4 or 80mm x 4 or 60mm x 4, or 300mm Cross Flow Fan x1 or MIX)

is it better to have 4x140mm or a large 300mm fan. also what is MIX and Cross Flow?

Front: yes you can fit 3, but that means you'll need 2 more drive bays, and you'll have no room for a dvd drive

Top: yes theres one, can be a pain in the ass to get it in though

Rear: yes one, only one without a mesh, and this is excluding the psu

the bracket: there are 4 mesh's that come with it, the mesh's can only fit 120mm fans... to fit the 140mm's, you'll have to remove the mesh bracket, which is an invite for dust...same with the 80mm.. only 120mm fit in the mesh bracket

the crossflow fan is not 300mm, its like a long cooler that takes up two spots on the bracket..not worth it IMO

^^^i bought 8 of these only because 8 is cheaper than 7...for some odd reason
they are nice and blue, but they are LOUD AS HELL... my comp sounded like a microwave, and even after the fan controller i can't get the thing to shutup

^^^^^
get some of those, although it seems too good to be true, i've read soem good things about this one... its called the batwing you can work a nice red/black theme

overall i still love the case... so many options -__- it'll drive you retarded

For me, size isn't what I go for. I go for CFM and noise. Next thing is airflow. Heat rises so an exhaust near the top would be good. Too much intake doesn't help as it disrupts negative air pressure.
I'd ditch the 300mm crossflow.
120 x2 fan front intake (1 top, 1 middle)
120 fan top exhaust
120 fan back exhaust

Then again.. thats just me.

wait you have this case? you need to put something in the bracket, or dust will collect too fast -_-

this case is made for air cooling, hell you don't even need to worry about negative and positive pressure because the side panels are mesh, air flows freely from all sides of the case... even the bottom

my setup is like this...
1 intake from the front
2 intakes from the two bottom in the side bracket
2 exhaust from the top of the side bracket
1 exhaust from the top
1 exhaust from the back, excluding the psu

i have 2 more exhausts than intake, but i put my intakes at a higher rpm so more air comes in from those three fans... it wouldn't matter too much though, remember, open side, top and bottom panels

the batwing as i said
these look really good, althought i would have gotten these for my comp, they didnt come out until liek 5 months later =[

no way am i spending $150 on fans... not for a long long time
buying 8 is about 2 bucks more than buying 7, and you'll get an extra fan...

you'll need at least 7 to fill all the slots btw... and the case comes with 2 fans

Alright thanks, I'll buy 8 of them from newegg.CA, total w/ shipping is CAD$156, but eh.

Can you suggest any fan controllers or case mods ?
