I just bought a ASUS M3A78-EM with 2 gb of DDR 2 OCZ ram clocked at 1066 mhz, The only problem is I have a AMD Athlon x2 6000 processor in the manual it says I can only use 1066 memory with am2+ chip which my cpu isn't. I'm I completely screwed or is there way i can get it to work?

No, you can still run 1066 memory. It will just run at 800 MHz, you may have to go into the bios and set it at 400 (ddr2 = 800).
My Asus 79-T has a default setting of 333 (667). Your's should be the same.
