A friend can't even get his computer to load into the bios. I gave him a hiper 580 watt psu which worked for me a week ago. According to him the motherboard lights come on but when he touches the power button nothing. He also said the psu makes a little humming noise. I tested his cpu (pentium 4) so I know it works and like I said my psu should work but I have know idea about the motherboard. Sorry I don't have any hard specs except I know 580 watts is probably way overkill for this system. Bad psu or mb?
