Can't Change Printing Preferences on My Laptop

Hello,
My laptop is denying me access to change the default printing preferences. I'm getting an error stating something about the spooler. Thanks for your help!

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware forums. Go Start then Run and in the open box, type services.msc then press Enter.

In the Services list that follows, scroll down to Print Spooler and double click it. Make sure that the StartUp is set to Automatic, Apply any changes and OK your way out and restart the computer.
