So my main question is whether everything will be compatible. Also, is the power supply enough? Is it worth the step up to the 9800 GTX? I really appreciate any feedback I receive. Thanks a load in advance. Also, my budget is around 800$.
I am worried about the harddrive because I have heard that 32mb cache is the way to go. Also, I do not know much at all about motherboards, and I could use some suggestions.
Looks like a great Build but there are 2 things that I think you should change. They'll improve performance. I went on newegg and changed the things and it only go's over your $800 budget by 18 bucks lol.
I think you should get this BIOSTAR TForce TP43D2A7 instead of the Gigabyte board. It will give better performance. It has a newer northbridge (Intel P43) and also has good reviews.
The Second Component that I think you should change is the Graphics Card.
You should get this ATI Radeon HD 4850 from HIS. The 4850 is a VERY good card for the Cash and Definitely beats the 8800GT and the 9800GTX.
I added your parts and the Parts I recommended on Newegg and it comes out to $818.
Also the 4850 brings the new racing game GRID so if you don't want it you can sell it on ebay and save some money after all lol.
The mentioned Hard drive Western Digital 640 SATA is very good. HD4850 graphic card, best bang for the buck right now. I'd also recommend the P43/P45 read some reviews on them, i've had good luck with Biostar, bad luck with Asus. Shadow has bad luck with Biostar, good luck with Asus...lol maybe Gigabyte then! Just read some reviews, but the Asus P45s seem to get great reviews. It's a good solid build.

+1 to the Western Digital 640 GB HDD and also to the 4850. Another +1 for the Antec 900 - I just modded mine (drilled holes for cable management - it looks even better now).
I would suggest better memory - the timings on that aren't to spectacular. You ought to be able to get something for the same price with 4-4-4-12 (or 15) for the same price or less - probably OCZ.
Do you need an OS?
I would suggest Vista home premium 64 bit.
Shopping tips for Vista:
1) Do you qualify for an academic license?
If so, you can get Vista at a discounted price.
2) Look for an upgrade version of home premium instead of OEM.
Upgrade is a retail version which gives you support from microsoft, unlike OEM(AKA system builder),
and allows a more hassel-free ability to transfer the os to a different pc(motherboard).
For $10, microsoft will send you the 64 bit DVD.
I saw Vista home premium upgrade recently at Costco for $85, amazon for $89.
There is a legitimate two step instalation process to install an upgrade version
You install vista from the cd, but do not initially enter the product code.
Just tell the install which version you bought, and do not activate.
After it installs, you have a fully functional vista for 30 days.
Step 2 is to insert the cd again, while running vista and then do an upgrade.
This time, enter your product code, and activate.
After activation. you may delete the initial version which is named windows.old.
3) Do you possibly need Ultimate? There are very few features that the home user would want.
Check out the differences on the microsoft Vista web site.
If you get a retail or upgrade version, you will still be able to upgrade to ultimate later.
