Something is Terribly wrong with 8600 GT ?

Guys i bought 8600 GT DDR3 as a replacement of 7600 GT
Now i am freaking going crazy.
The FPS i am getting with my favorites games is even worse now ??????
World of warcraft at 35 where with my old card i used to get 60.
Street fighter 4 at about 30 or less where i used to get 55 with 7600 GT ?
What on earth is wrong here ?
Also i am able to get display only one vga port but not dvi-d port ( i use DVI to vga a converter )
So help me with FPS and this port issue.............
Rest spec is
2 gb ram
E5200 running at 3.8 Ghz ( overclocked )
GA G31M S2L Gigabyte motherboard.
Running a resolution of 1024x768 Only on my Old Good CRT
All the possible help is appreciated.

OMG this crappy card is only 64 bit
for same price or even less i bought HD 4650 that is 3 times better then this.
Why i bought this nvidia, this now seems nothing but their some low end card sold in cover.
7600 GT was much better then this.

Now that is a good price and a good bang for buck. The best card I have ever bought for less was a 8800gtx that was diy fix it job but it was worth it. The 4670 1gb is worth it being that it needs are small and maintenance is very simple. Performance in games like wow, cod, and crysis will be much better than the 7600gt and that crappy 8600gt.

The 8600GT is fast, but not by much. People loved the 7600GT because it was as fast as the previous high(er) end, the 6800GT. People wanted Nvidia to do it again with the 8600GT, but it was slower then the 7900GS. Its a notch faster then the 7600GT.

Yeah i guess i am gonna settle for HD 4850 for 7500 India Currency that is nearly 159 Usd. Well cant get cheaper here in India and cards are roughly 20-30% costly here with no option of returning them back.
But seriously someone said very well that what nvidia is doing is pretty shitty.
a DDR3 card with 64 Bit Memory interface ?
Hell.......will never ever look back at nvidia again.
