Scanner software for Kodachrome

My scanner software will scan slides. It will scan Kodachrome slides too, but NOT properly. Kodachrome is a very special Film that was just discontinued after 75 years. It was considered by professionals the very Best. For archival purposes it is the best. The software needed for it, requires very special filters and the IT8 calibrator.

after installing the scanner software, you will find settings for contrast, brightness, color etc...and usually you can preview what the scan will look like before you save it as a file.
After you scan the file, you can use photoshop or similar photo editor to adjust the image.
but there is no specific software for Kodachrome, specifically for your scanner?
maybe you need a different scanner.

Right, there is SilverFast software that supports a lot of scanners but not mine. There must be a software that supports mine.

Warning, do not load free software into your computer that promises to "fix" problems. Including video image problems.

Of course! You are right. Thank you for interest. I would only load software that I pay for. SilverFast is good software produced by Laser Soft Imaging, unfortunately they support about 12 Canon scanners. Not mine.
