I have a older HP Pavillion laptop that I want to reinstall XP on but the original OS disk says "setup cannot be performed because this comuter has a newer version of windows than on this CD" or something to that effect. Where can I go to DL XP? all the sites I have been to only have floppy versions and I only have CD/DVD burning no floppy. Or do I just format the HD and install it that way? I have all the drivers for the laptop so do I just co to "my computer" right click on C drive and click "format" then insert the OS cd and go from there? what is the easiest way to do it?

the disk OS is from a HP manufactured in 2003 so I guess it doesn't have the updates and service packs
