Hey guys!

I just bought my brand new PaliT 9600GT 512mb!!

And now, I'm having screen flickers in 3d applications and 3d textures like GTA San Andreas and Call of Duty..

As you can see, instead of being a full NVIDIA logo, it distorts and become thin or sometimes out of place!

Here are my Specs:
Intel Q6600
Asus P5k-SE/EPU
4GB Kingston
500GB Seagate
PaliT 9600GT 512 MB

What do you think guys? Is it a whacked GFX Card? It's only one day old!!

Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks!!

Palit videocards are as good as any other; it's all the same. Do a fresh install of the latest driver found in Nvidia's site. First uninstall your old driver. After rebooting when it tells you, use a tool like CCleaner to clear your pc. Might want to clean the registry as well. After doing so, install the driver.

If this doesn't do it, use a tool like Rivatuner and underclock all the way to the lowest possible settings and see if it fixes it. If it does, you can be pretty certain it's a faulty video card.
