I have a 177watt peltier, a power supply to fully power it, and a 145watt heatsink that i will be putting a twice as powerful fan on, the heatsink also has heatpipes is a Phenom 2.5ghz heatsink. Now i was wondering if and how i could put this peltier on my asus radeon hd 4870 video card, so i can greatly overclock this, i already know very well about waterproofing and sealing peltiers, i'm just not sure on how to attach this heatsink on here?

ok is the pelt a 177w Qcmax pelt? if not then you need a bigger pelt for a HD4870 as it has a tdp of over 160w. next problem you still need water cooling as a 177w Qcmax pelt will need to be cooled by a min of 400w+177w so thats air coolers out of the way.

next problem any gpu stand alone block will be fine but, it will need to be insulated and a require a 360mm rad just for the 1 gfx card
