Ok, i'm building another system on Monday, this one with a AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition at it's core. My question is which cooler should I use. I have a COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus and a Zero therm BTF90 92mm Silent UFO CPU Cooler.
Both say they fit am2+ sockets etc. Which one does a better job? The Cooler master has tiny gaps on its base plate in between the heat pipes, that and its retention mechanism worries me. The Zero therm is older though. so I'm leaning towards the 212.
