Check this thread: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/255026-12-gigabyte-ex58-extreme-asus

and check this website review for comparison: http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.aspx?i=3471

Gigabyte DES Advanced will save more energy than Asus EPU 6 Engines but Asus P6T Deluxe will perform about 0.3 or 0.5 fps faster than GA-EX58-UD5 while gaming but you will not realize the difference while gaming with either motherboard. However, GA-EX58-UD5 is $1 cheaper than P6T-Deluxe on newegg.com. Please also check more reviews from newegg.com

Some people had reported about the major flaw with P6T-Deluxe's Asus and Marvell Yukon LAN (network) for the moment and problem with the Bios on GA-EX58-UD5. However, maybe these problems are due to early immature hardware drivers API versions but when the drivers are update in the future then these problems might be fix.

Anyway, they both are good motherboards so go with either one.
