Hi , I got ASUS p5e motherboard , but I don't know if the OCZ Reaper HPC 2GB 1200mhz will support it.

I might planning to get 1 of these :

or

Why would you get 2 GB? Get 4 GB of PC6400 (800 Mhz) or PC8500 (1066 MHZ) and save some money. 4 GB of PC6400 will cost 50$ and with good timings ( like 4-4-4-12) you won'T see big differences in performance compared to 1200 mhz memory.

You shouldnt have to worry about overclocking the memory if your setting the divider properly in the BIOS.

Get DDR2-800 that will run at its advertised timings on the JEDEC default 1.8V. The G.Skill knotknut linked looks ok (1.8-1.9). I've used A-Data and Mushkin, preferring Mushkin. I "accidentally" overclocked my Mushkin to DDR2-960 (not formally tested, but no crashes for days until I discovered it), and a voltage increase was not required. That RAM is this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 820146731. It is $55 right now.
