Hello everyone,

I'd just like to say this is an excellent forum!

PC Specs:
i7 975 Extreme
P6T6 WS Revolution
12GB Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600
GTX 295
Megahalems CPU Cooler with 2 Noctua NF-P12 fans

Anyhow, I have a few questions regarding the AI Tweaking options in the BIOS. I've been running the computer for the last few months with all the settings set to auto but now I've enabled X.M.P so I can run the memory at 1600. When I enabled this the QPI/DRAM Core Voltage changed to 1.35000 and the DRAM Bus Voltage went up to 1.66. A warning said 1.66 was above Intel's maximum so I changed it to 1.64, I left everything else set on auto. Are the above settings ok and should I have changed anything else?

In CPU-Z the Core Voltage is 0.968v idle and 1.120v at full load in Prime95, Multiplier is x25, Bus Speed is 133.6, does this sound right? I've also noticed the DRAM Frequency is 801.8, shouldn't this be 800MHz with 1600 DDR3?

I'm doing my own research into overclocking but I just thought I'd ask someone with a little experience if the settings I'm currently running are ok.

Thanks people.

You should check out the stickies in this section. Also validate your CPU-Z results and post online; that'll help everyone see your settings.
