I have a PNY Geforce 8600GT graphics card on my new system i just built with an AMD 5000+ brisbane cpu and an AM2 Gigabyte motherbpard. Using Everst monitoring software, i am getting GPU readings of 53 degrees celcius with no load to 7- full load. Is that too hot for this particular graphics card. I only built the system to play WOW and i get 60 fps in most areas. However, i have noticed that my wireless USB mouse stutters and doesn't respond right away when playing WOW. Is this because of the graphics card, maybe GPU temps are too high?. Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated because everything else is A-ok. Any more information anyone needs let me know and I'll post right away. Thanks in advance for any help. You guys rock!

that's not concerning. video cards are designed to run much hotter than cpu's. the passive 8800GT runs at around 90 degrees under load, and my 4850 also idles around 53-54 degrees. if your mouse is stuttering, it may be because it's a wireless mouse.

wireless mice do that. GPUs run VERY hot. pretty much everything Nik_I said.

It's the wireless mouse most likely.
