In print preview, a vertical blue boundary with horizontal cross hatching appears. When I insert a break:next page, I end up with an unwanted blank page at the end of each chapter. What is this vertical blue boundary and how to I remove it to view each page as a seperate page.

I discovered the answer to this question, myself. When Page Set up is formated to show different headers on alternate pages (such as the author name on even pages, the title of the novel on odd pages) the vertical blue band appears in the "view print." Unchecking the boxes under Page, Layout, Headers and Footers, removes this format distinction (vertical blue band with cross-hatching).
