have a copy of xp 32 bit
not so sure about 4bg or ram for my dad he may not need that much but who not besied that xp will only reconize 3.25 gb of it unless i run it in dual channel mode
trying to do it for under $350

I don't know what he does on the computer, but AMD has an ultra low voltage cpu coming out. Both Via & Intel have mini ITX cpu/mobo combos.

those are kinda neat but not what i am after he needs a new cheep desk top for surfing the internet, finances, and light Photoshop aka lot of storage for pics

I saw that deal, but the motherboard is pretty ugly. What OS were you planning on using? You might try a refurbished system for him.
