The Corsair 750TX is NOT a modular PSU. Only the HX series for corsair is modular (HX520, HX620, HX1000).

One that note, i would recommend any of the Corsair HX series modular PSUs. I have one, and it's been rock solid, no problems.

+1 for the Corsair HX series. I build pc's for friends, neighbors, and girlfriends. I use Corsair exclusively. They psu's are high quality and very stable.

From time to time online vendors will have a special sale, mail-in rebate, and free shipping simultaneously. Right now buy.com has the Corsair 750TX for a final price of $80.99. Unfortunately as others have pointed out it is not a modular psu. Don't know what prices are like in your country.

stueeeb,

Is there any particular reason you need a power supply in the 750 to 800 watt range? You didn't list your pc components which makes it very difficult to determine which psu's might be good for you.

Generally speaking people think they need more power than necessary.

You do not need an 800 watt psu for the components you listed.

Here is a link to an easy to use psu power supply calculator:

You are going to be in for a surprise.

Corsairs 520w HX would be more than enough for that rig (its still modular.)
