4870, CF 4770 or 4870 x2 @ 1600 x 1050

as the thread says which would be a better solution
i have 4gb ocz reaper 6400, q9550, vista 64 bit on a gigabyte x48 ds4 board

this is for gaming and i dont plan on switching to nehalem anytime soon as i just bought this comp and it took a lot of saving

will be overclocking only to get 1:1 fsb mem

    4870x2 and 4870 cf will obviously outperform single 4870. Do you even have to ask? :na:

    Between 4870x2 and 4870 cf, 4870x2 perform the same as 4870 cf on common resolutions, but better on very high resolutions, due to having 1gb per core instead of 512mb. It runs out of onboard vram later.
