DX48BT2 having trouble starting

Hi there,

Been having this board for a while and when i overclock it too much it wont show anything on the screen. Then i take the power and start i imediately after and then it runs without any trouble.

I have been running the CPU on my old ASUS P5Q at 8x500 @ 4GHz. but on this board it will only run 450x8 I will say that I have tried a lot of different settings but I can't seem to cure this problem.

The CPU is a 6750 C2D
C1E = disabled.
CPU vCore tried up to 1.8v
RAM tried up to 1.7v
RAM is not running at full speed soo i don't think this is the problem

any ideas?

I have tried that both MCH and FSB voltage have been raised to MAX but still no good.

Suspecting the RAM to be the problem.

That would be my next guess. I would look into the timings before I replaced the RAM though. What kind of RAM and speed?

I have a set of Mushkin ES3 9-9-9-27 @ 1333MHz with 1,6v I have tried with looser timings, more volt, different dividers.
