More about adding hard drive internally
  1. ...errr...have you opened up the case to scope out the real estate space. That would be a good start...
  2. thanks
  3. You need to open the computer to see if:

    a) There is a place to install the drive,
    b) There is an unused data connector on the motherboard and what type it is (IDE or SATA)
    c) There is an unused power connector

You can get a "Y" splitter cable if you've run out of power connectors, but lack of the other two (space and a spare data connector) are harder to overcome.
