Ok, I got the DIY kit at the Windows Ready to Launch Tour and am wondering how well the AMD Athlon X4 620 overclocks.
Also, I have read it is not very good to use software for overclocking, such as AMD Overdrive. Why is this? I have never overclocked before and thought that would be the way to go for a first timer.
Thanks in advance!
P.S. I have the ASUS M4A785TD-M EVO, if that helps any.
------------------------------OS: XP SP3. CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3000+. Mobo: VIA k8m800, socket 754. Ram: 1gb PC2100 (133mhz). Video card: Nvidia GeForce 6200. Sound Card: Diamond Xtreme 5.1. PSU: A Power Golden Deluxe 580W.
And THAT is the reason I am wanting to get a new computer
