I just recently assembled my first computer ever. I got it functioning properly in 2 days. Blessed be luck! surprised none of my parts were defected. Knock on wood.

Anyways. Before installing my operating system i manually set timings for my RAM in my BIOS. It is DDR2 pc8500 1066 5.5.5.15 RAM. That's all I know about it. Wait, it's also 2.0v-2.1v.

Anyways, I changed the voltage setting, the settings for 5.5.5.15 and the 10666 mhz speed... however the voltage is 2.0 right now, should I change it to 2.1? What does it do exactly? Anyways, there are advanced settings also, but they are all on auto... should i manually change those too? if so.. to what?

Also, are there any tests I should be taking to ensure that my computer is functioning properly and efficiently? I don't want anything to be stressed while I think it's all running dandy. Thanks in advance for the answers.
