GA-P35-DS3R not reporting correct core/multipler settings?

Hi there-

I'm running a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R MB with an Intel Q9550 quad core. The Core Speed is showing as 2667 Mhz w/ an 8.0 multiplier. No matter what I do (this is showing in CPU-Z/CPUID). I've tried OCing to 3.4 using 400x8.5, but it reverts back to this 26667.8 Mhz and 8 multiplier. I'm about at my wits end.

Any ideas?

I would verify the bios version supports that processor.
How are you overclocking it? Make sure you overclocking in the bios.
