HD4870 X2 need specify motherboard?

Hi all, i need say first my english is horrible.. i am brazilian

I buyed one HD4870 X2 and I installed correctly in my computer and inside windows with correctly drivers, but in, CCC, Hardware information say my Linked GPU is disable. I not dunno this is correct or not.

My board is one Asus Striker Extreme....

.....where all hardware is come back toward the SLI.

My question is: HD4870 X2 work = one Crossfire because have 2 GPUs?

and...

Because my motherboard is for SLI this Crossfire dont go enable never and this second GPU the my HD4870 X2 never go enable?

Maybe this second GPU stay disable outside anygame?

but is normal say in CCC the second GPU is disable? maybe he disable for saver power?
