Spider web on motherboard

There is a spider web between my motherboard and sound card. Will that cause harm for my computer in the long term?

My motto is if it's not broken, don't fix it, but any advice will be appreciated.

I've seen computers that have been running for who knows how long with all sorts of crud inside them (spiderwebs and worse). Still, I'd shut it down, unplug it, and blow it out sometime. The less crud, the better the heat dissipation/airflow.
