CPU Temperature

I have a quad 2 Q9550 CPU at 2.83 GHZ. I was just wondering what temperature range it should be in. These are the readings I got from real temp when the CPU is idle.

Core 0:47
Core 1:40
Core 2:45
Core 3:48

The highest temperatures I got was when I played World in conflict

Core 0:54
Core 1:47
Core 2:55
Core 3:60

I dont know what to make of this. Is it bad, decent or good?.

To put things in perspective I have a stackermaster cooler 831 SE chassi. Apart from the CPU fan and the powersupply fan I have the following fan configuration.

120 mm intake fan(front)
120 mm exhaust fan(rear)
120 mm blowhole fan(top)

I alos have the Powercolour radeon HD4870 graphics accelerator. I know that these cards have heat issues, could this be affecting the temperatures?.

Thermal threshold is 71C, it's fine as long as max load temperature is below that.

Game don't stress fully, use prime95, small fft.

Graphics card will affect temperature if it vents hot air inside the case instead of outside.
