Hey, the 9600gt (1280x1024) is about $65 after $60 rebate through EVGA...I hear they have the best service, are their rebates as good?

Cool, I just ordered it. I hope it's a huge step up from my 2+ year old 7600gt lol.

I can't wait to play some newer games! The CoD4 demo would play at low/medium settings and the Crysis would glitch at its lowest settings on my 1280x1024 screen with the 7600gt. Are there any other newer games that are must play?

7600GT...oh hell yeah. The 9600GT is fast. I have been using it on my 40" Samsung HDTV to watch DVDs mostly. I took it out and installed my 8800GTS 640. I can't remember the exact resolution, but something near 16 x 12. I'm not gaming, but the 9600GT performs better at that resolution (for me anyway) than the 8800GTS. So, yeah there will be a noticable difference from your 7600GT...maybe like night and day! 8)

I mailed them a $20 rebate and it was denied because of an "Invalid UPC Number."

The UPC number on the rebate form and on the code I cut out from the box matched exactly.

^ Rebate companies usually find every reason to screw you over....so you need to be extra careful when you do your rebates. (ie. they can deny your rebate if you misspell your name, address, or anything else by a single letter or number)
