Do you have Cool'n'Quite or any power saving features enabled?

Looks like Cool'n'Quiet with the multiplier drop to 4x.

Yeah I have cool and quiet enable , but look at L3 cache it says 6m. I thought it doens't have L3 cache.

Some motherboards without the latest bios will down-clock the CPU to 4x in the bios. A quick change to 13x will resolve the problem.

Btw, 6MB of L3 cache = win. Good amount of early Propus cores were in fact Denebs down clocked with L3 cache disabled. My Propus unfortunately did not have L3 cache as much as I tried.

I hvae the same 620 CPU and just saw that cool and quiet was enabled on my system as well. I am using the stock fan/cooling module that came with the processor. Should I disable cool and quiet? I did not overclock my unit, yet.

Mind you, I live in South Florida and the temperatures here get very hot and humid, even with the a/c on.

I think you answered your question already. :D

Yeah, I guess that what I figured. I was just trying to be an optimist. I checked the CPU temp today and it was at 44c, but it is unually cool weather and it is my first new build.
